The idea
Knights on the outside.
Siblings on the inside.
What Rakhi means
Raksha Bandhan, or Rakhi, means “the bond of protection”. A sister ties a sacred thread, the rakhi, around her brother’s wrist, and he promises to protect her. Today it’s celebrated as siblings protecting each other, whoever is older, whoever is stronger.
Why knights
Knights are protectors by trade. So the armour isn’t a gimmick: it’s the festival made literal. Two knights in shining armour, protecting each other, and still teasing each other like every sibling does.
The thinking
The brief
A Rakhi campaign for Zomato, built to bring back past users and win new ones, with a minimum ₹150 off.
The disruptor
Scrolling at light speed, you stop for two knights in an Indian home doing cute, ordinary sibling things. Knights are meant to protect or to fight. Here, they're just living their lives.
The story
An elder sister and her younger brother celebrate Rakhi, and take a trip down memory lane through all their little banter. The only difference: they're knights. It could even be how they imagine themselves, and we'd never know.
The three pillars
A hard shell that makes every soft moment land harder.
Banter, teasing and care, read entirely through body language.
Shot like a family's iPhone videos, so it feels like a memory.
Two episodes, two moods
The rakhi is tied, then we drop into their childhood: play fights, a blanket fort, a first ride, a kite on the roof. Scored to feel like remembering.
A fast AI UGC unboxing: two teenagers at the dining table, on a Zomato high. Scored to match.
The look
An iPhone, not a cinema camera.
The other films in this portfolio are built like cinema. This one is built to feel like a family's phone videos from around 2015: imperfect framing, a raw grade, nothing pretty about it. AI defaults to polished, so every prompt pushes it the other way.
the camera is a third sibling filming, not a cinematographer
iPhone 17 0.5× ultra-wide handheld clip
Auto-exposure wobbles once as it reads the bright hallway
a small bump when the person filming laughs
Cinematic dolly moves, tripod stillness, music, slow-motion
Clip ends mid-action, unresolved

How it was made
Both episodes were made with AI in three days. The armour comes first, shared by both; then each episode opens its own process. If you'd rather keep browsing, skip to the next project →

Both episodes
Choosing the armour
With no faces, the armour is the whole performance. Two directions were tested side by side.

Both episodes
Two episodes, two ways of making them
The armour is shared. After that, each episode was made differently, and each card opens its own process.
Episode A · Nostalgia
Frames first.
Then motion, one scene at a time.
Episode A
Frames first, then motion
Nostalgia isn't one montage prompt. Every memory has its own place, mood and emotion, so each scene was built as a still frame first (location, action, exact spot) and only then brought to life, one scene at a time.

Frame → prompt → shot · ChatGPT for frames and prompt drafts · Higgsfield Cinema Studio for motion
Episode A
Nostalgia, scene by scene
Each scene's prompt, beside the raw generation it produced. Then the few seconds that made the cut: of 64 seconds generated, about 7 made it in. The hardest shots were solved by smart editing.
Episode B · AI UGC unboxing
One montage.
One location, one prompt. A fast unboxing on a Zomato high.
Episode B
The UGC unboxing, beat by beat
One location, so this one was written as a single montage: a fast UGC unboxing with a dish manifest, a choreography rule and a camera law. Every beat plays beside the line that made it.
The campaign
Two episodes, eight adapts
Both episodes ran as paid dark ads across Meta, YouTube and Google. One film is cut four ways because every placement frames it differently: YouTube plays it wide, the Instagram and Facebook feeds favour square and 4:5, and Reels, Stories and Shorts fill the whole phone. Every shot is composed to hold up in all four. Press play on any of them.
